It’s that wonderful time of the year where we arbitrarily rank the very best films 2023 has to offer. You may or not be surprised by the number of films that show up multiple times, including one that shows up on all three lists. It’s been a great year in films, despite the strikes, for international stories, high-concept and homely comedies and animation. We were shown that you don’t need hundreds of millions of dollars to create an awesome action scene or a memorable adventure.
